Javad Ramazani
As a Multimedia student at PCC with over twenty five years of professional experience in visual arts, I view art not just as a career, but as a lifelong commitment to storytelling. My journey as a producer, director, and visual effects specialist has allowed me to contribute to the global artistic community, earning prestigious accolades such as the Golden Statue at the 2nd Green Film International Film Festival for my animation 'Flower Secret. I have also been honored with the Best Technical and Artistic Achievement (Special Effects) at the Hamedan International Children’s Film Festival and multiple top honors at the International Growth Film Festival. My expertise in both traditional and digital painting, combined with my technical background in cinematography and editing, allows me to see the world through a multifaceted lens.
Recently, my involvement with the local community has deepened through my membership at the Portland Art Museum and the Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA). At PCC, I am refining these skills to adapt to the evolving digital landscape. This scholarship will support my goal of continuing to create impactful visual narratives that contribute to the rich cultural fabric of Oregon. For me, art is an essential tool for critical thinking, environmental awareness, and social transformation.
