About Javad Ramazani
Multimedia Artist | VFX Supervisor | Art Department Assistant
With over 20 years of professional experience in the creative industries, I have dedicated my career to the fusion of technical precision and visual storytelling. My journey began in Iran, where I led national-level juries, founded animation departments, and directed award-winning projects such as "The Secret of the Flower". My work has been honored with the Golden Statue Award and the Golden Butterfly Award, and is documented in historical publications as a pivotal contribution to the cinema and photography of the Bushehr region.
Academic Excellence & Professional Leadership in the U.S. Since transitioning to the United States in 2024, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA at Portland Community College, consistently earning a place on the President’s List. My academic standing has led to significant recognitions, including being Nominated for the Georgetown University Preferred Consideration Program (2025) and being invited for a Portfolio Review by LAIKA Studios.
I am currently a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society (ranking in the top 10% nationwide). In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as an Art Department Assistant, collaborating with faculty to support studio operations. Previously, I served as a Lead Technician in the STEAM Lab, where I managed 3D printing technologies and mentored students in digital fabrication.
Vision & Professional Memberships As a member of ASIFA International and the Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA), I am committed to the global animation and film community. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that digital art is a powerful tool for social change and environmental advocacy. As I prepare for my next chapter at Portland State University (PSU), I am focused on mastering interactive multimedia to create immersive experiences that inspire a deeper connection between the audience
